Web DAV Support for Online Backup

Novosoft is pleased to announce that a new feature of Handy Backup is going to be available soon.

WebDAV stands for Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning. Based on the HTTP protocol, the purpose of the WebDAV protocol is to allow modifying files online by numerous authors and keeping versions of the files. Also, the WebDAV protocol allows transferring files, just like via the HTTP protocol. Windows uses this protocol to create Web Folders, which allows a user to work with website files just like with local files, using the Explorer.
With the help of WebDAV, you will be able to easily view and restore data from a backup location, as though it is stored on one of the disks of your PC.
