Self-Restorable Backup

Self-Restorable backup implies that restoration of your data doesn’t require you to install the backup software. Instead of a common index file with all control data (type of backup, compression, etc.) the program creates an executable file which acts similar to a common restore task (performed via software interface). Some backup programs have a different approach when a self-restorable backup contains the whole backup set in a single file.

Novosoft developers have started implementing the ability to perform self-restorable backup in Handy Backup. The new feature will allow you to restore your files or hard disk images without launching the utility, and without even having it installed on your computer.
