Backup rotation

Backup rotation is a process of rotating the backup media during the backup process. This is done to allow saving recent backup versions on media, thus allowing restoring them, if it is discovered that some files were damaged some time ago. Usually this process includes various backup data strategies and backup rotation schedules, like Grandfather-father-son and Tower of Hanoi.
