File synchronization with FTP
File synchronization with an FTP server is a process of copying the newest (or any other files, according to the specified parameter) via the local computer and a remote FTP server. Usually this process is met in the home-office-home file synchronization scheme, which can be used to synchronize files between home and office computer. This process is somewhat similar to the file synchronization between three or more computers process, but is not quite the same.
