Folder Synchronization
Folder synchronization is procedure of bringing contents of two (or more) folders to similar states. The basic goal of synchronization is to make two locations contain the same up-to-date files.
Sometimes folder synchronization is referred to as folder mirroring, or simply mirroring. Most folder backup and synchronization software support only local folders, i.e. folders that are located on local HDDs, USB drives, USB keys, CD and DVD discs, etc.
Handy Backup™ can mirror and synchronize files and folders between local and remote locations, including network shares and FTP servers.
