Network
Network is a set of computers linked to one another for data sharing, or the link itself. When you connect to an ISP or the Internet, you are connecting to a network. Most networks are used for business applications but some, such as home networks, are generally a way to share applications legally or share a connection to the Internet. Networks are not required to have a "dedicated" server, however, those that do, usually for business functions, are far more adept at the ability to handle large numbers of users with reasonable efficiency. See Net.
