Secure FTP
Secure FTP is a protocol, combining FTP and SSH or SSL to secure the connection. Mostly, this secures only the command transfer channel, while file transfer channel, sent via random port number, is sent 'as is', open to the public. SSH File Transfer Protocol is a more secure way to secure the file transfer connection.
