Simple backup
A simple backup is the elementary type of files backup. Each time a compressed archive file is created, the new version of backup file replaces the old file. This backup, however simple, does not provide the required safety, compared to the Tower of Hanoi backup scheme or any other scheme involving a combination of full and incremental or differential backup and media rotation.
