The Blu-Ray/HD-DVD/DVD option in the Task Wizard is disabled

The DVD-R/RW option can be grayed out for several reasons:

• Handy Backup can’t detect any DVD/Blu-Ray/HD DVD burning devices.

Make sure that you have a DVD burning device, it is properly connected and you have all necessary drivers installed on your computer.

I receive a message saying that the trial period for the DVD Backup feature has expired.

• Since July 2009, the Backup to DVD feature was added to the list of basic functions available in all editions of Handy Backup. Customers of version 6.0 and higher can enable it by re-registering the program with the same serial key, while users of lower versions need to order the upgrade to the latest version.

In old versions of Handy Backup support for DVD/Blu-ray/HD DVD may not be present at all.

Download and install the latest version of Handy Backup and re-register it. Make sure that your serial number allows using the feature, otherwise, update it. See Handy Backup download details...
