Step 5: How to Backup


In this step of the New Task Wizard you can enable compression and encryption.

Handy Backup: Enabling Compression Encryption
  1. Check Compress the data to save space to enable an integrated ZIP compressor. This option is recommended when you back up to network drives or FTP servers in order to save storage space and online time.
  2. Check Encrypt the data for security reasons to encrypt the backup with blowfish encryption algorithm and make the data inaccessible to anybody who does not know the password.

If you choose to encrypt the data, the following fields are to be filled:
