To restore data from a backup copy, you need to create a Restore task. Press the "New task" button on the program toolbar to initiate New Task Wizard. Choose name for the new task and select "Restore task" as its type.
You can also create a new Restore task by double-clicking on the index file in the Windows Explorer. Open the Windows Explorer, locate the index file (it should have the .hbi extension) and double-click on it. Handy Backup will start the New Task Wizard to create a new Restore task for the data specified in the index file.
