Handy Backup is a powerful yet simple SQL Server backup utility designed for Windows 8/7/XP/Vista and 2012/2008/2003 Server. The program has two plug-ins for backing up MS SQL Server:

  • Database Backup. This approach allows you to back up local and remote SQL databases tables, using ODBC connection.
  • MS SQL Backup. This plug-in gives much more accurate results, but can back up SQL databases located on a local machine. The backup copy contains not only all tables, but also all views, triggers, indexes and stored procedures.

By default, the MSSQL Server Backup feature is included into Small Server edition of Handy Backup. But you can also supplement a Standard edition with this feature.
