Oracle 12c Backup and Restoration Instruments

After an Oracle 12c released, the standard featured RMAN accessory for Oracle data safekeeping undertakes only slight changes compared with previous versions. Some of these changes are:

  • Remove of SQL prefix when running SQL commands under RMAN;
  • Recover data files over the network (from standby databases);
  • A direct method of partition time recovery added.
