PlayStation 3 is the third video game console produced by Sony. Along with Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Nintendo’s Wii, PlayStation 3 is one the most popular video game consoles of the 7th generation in the world. It is known for integration with the unified gaming service PlayStation Network, wide multimedia capabilities, staying unhacked longer than hackers would wish, and involvement into super-computing projects.
The console is equipped with 20, 60, and up to 320 Gb hard drives, depending on a model. PlaySation 3 primary storage medium is Blu-ray Disc, and the console can also play DVDs, CDs, and other optical media.
