The version 6.6 - Improved FTP, MSSQL and Exchange Backup Plug-ins

We have just released Handy Backup 6.6 and Handy Backup Network Server 6.6 with several noticeable improvements:

• FTP transferring engine now works more correctly when backup files contain non-latin symbols. Earlier, some users had problems with backing up to FTP, because certain symbols in file names terminated the connection. The new 6.6 version of Handy Backup knows how to handle them properly.

• We've improved the MS SQL Backup plug-in which now works more correctly when used to back up SQL databases located on remote workstations (in Handy Backup Network Server scheme).
• Several users reported problems with restoration of backups created through MS Exchange Backup plug-in (for old versions of Microsoft Exchange) and Database Backup plug-in (for MS SQL databases only). We've carefully went through the codes and fixed them: Handy Backup 6.6 will restore your databases smoothly and error free.
• We've optimized Handy Backup's performance under Windows Vista and Windows 7, to improve its work with User Account Control (UAC) system.
• Also, there are some updates to user interface and many other minor fixes and enhancements.
