Another great news before the New Year 2011: we are happy to announce the release of Handy Backup 6.9.1!

The new version includes several important improvements that will make your computing experience even more comfortable and enjoyable!

• Windows 7 users will be the first to notice the changes. The version 6.9.1 features Windows 7-optimized taskbar which now reflects progress of currently running tasks: now you can see task progress without keeping the GUI open, or waiting for an e-mail notification.
• Several users sent us their complaints that an option to open Disaster Recovery web help is enabled, even if they cancel the installation. Now it's disabled, by default.

To create a recovery drive, click the respective icon on the taskbar:

• We've made it easier for Online Backup users to sign in to their Online cabinets: now the respective hyperlink appears in the log after any execution of the task.
• We've made many improvements to the Image Backup plug-in which is now more stable and works more correctly. We highly recommend all users who used disk imaging earlier to upgrade to the new version.

Dear users! We are thrilled to announce a new version 6.9 with several important and useful improvements!

• Handy Backup can now create bootable drives that can be used for backing up and recovering your PC independently of the main operating system. To create a recovery drive, click the Create Recovery Drive icon on the program's toolbar:

• We've improved the program's installation package, so that it now detects your Windows language and sets the respective localization in the program. The installer is now available in English, Russian and French (more languages will be added in the future).

We are happy to announce the release of the version 6.8.2!

• We've developed a new feature for event logging engine. Now program logs may include hyperlinks that can be clicked and cause various actions, e.g. opening browser and going to a certain page.
• Now when you try to back up to an expired Online Backup account, the log shows you a link that you can click to learn about further options.

• During the installation, users now have an option to create sample tasks to back up their Documents, Desktop, or Outlook to the remote backup server.

We have just released a new 6.7 version of Novosoft backup software!

• The version 6.7 features integration with Windows Shell, adding a new option to the Windows Explorer's context menu. Now task creation became easier than ever: just select the files you want to back up, right-click them, and then click Backup with Handy Backup in a context menu.
• E-mail notifications can now be sent securely with the use of SSL communications protocol.

We have just released Handy Backup 6.6 with several noticeable improvements:

• FTP transferring engine now works more correctly when backup files contain non-latin symbols. Earlier, some users had problems with backing up to FTP, because certain symbols in file names terminated the connection. The new 6.6 version of Novosoft backup tool knows how to handle them properly.
