Novosoft LLC partners with MySQL

Novosoft LLC announced starting its partnership with MySQL. Now the key product of the company, Handy Backup, is officially recognized suitable for backing up MySQL databases.

MySQL backup functionality was implemented into the software over a half-year ago. At the moment it is included by default into the Handy Backup Full and Server version and supplied as a paid plug-in for Standard and Professional versions of the program. Installed on a PC with MySQL running, Handy Backup automatically finds all local databases and offers the user the best way to safeguard them to any storage device including CD, DVD, USB-drives, LAN and remote servers. The application can also automatically backup databases stored on network disks. MySQL data can be compressed and encrypted using strong 128-bit encryption algorithm. The user has the opportunity to schedule backup tasks or run the program in Windows service mode that delivers fully automated data protection without any human intervention.
