Does Handy Backup support backup rotation schedules?

When speaking about backup software, it is not very correct to ask if there is or there is no support for backup rotation schemes. The right question should be "How flexible is the scheduler, and does it allow me to put this or that scheme into practice?" A program may not have a specific option like "Use the Tower-of-Hanoi scheme", but allow it through some feature or a combination of features.

Handy Backup's task-based archeticture and an ability to schedule and repeat tasks on any timeframe from minute to month, provide a remarkably flexible way to set up backup strategies. For example, you can:

  1. Create a backup task A and schedule it to run each day, six days a week.
  2. Clone the task two times (create tasks B and C).
  3. Schedule task B to run on the seventh day.
  4. Schedule task C to run one on the 30th day of the month. Store this backup on a remote backup server for disaster recovery purposes.

This way you will organize a "classical" Father-Grandfather-Son backup rotation scheme with usual means of Handy Backup.
