Backup as Windows service

Handy Backup can be configured to run in the background and back up data as a Windows service. This feature allows users to schedule their backup tasks only once, and always have them started in time – even if nobody is logged on. When you switch the application into service mode, its icon disappears from system tray, but the respective process is not removed from Windows Task Manager. It is launched automatically on operating system startup and makes Handy Backup operation invisible and independent of users.

The ability to launch Handy Backup as service appears especially useful in enterprise edition of the program, Handy Backup Server. In it, a central computer (which is used to manage all tasks) has a server application installed on it, and networked computers have client applications which run as Windows service and grant the server access to their data.
