Database Clone Software
There are many reasons why you may want to clone a database: from mere backup or upgrade purposes to setting up multiple identical business servers. We believe that a new database cloning feature that is currently being developed for Handy Backup will be of great use for a very wide range of users.
Unlike backup process, cloning a database suggests creation of a fully functional, standalone system. It assumes complete replication of the data base management system software, its internal data and all other applications that are used to create the environment.
At present, Handy Backup offers four plug-ins that enable creating MS SQL Server Backup, Oracle Backup, DB2 Data Server Backup and ODBC Database Backup. The clone database feature will be based on all of them.

Database backup is available in Professional edition, while MSSQL backup, DB2 backup and Oracle backup plug-ins come in Full and Server editions of Handy Backup. They can also be used in Standard editions as additional plug-ins. To learn more, please refer to the Order section.
