Can I use the program on an offline computer?


To use Handy Backup, you don't need to be connected to the Internet, unless there is a need to keep your data on a remote FTP server. Read more about FTP backup...

To register Handy Backup on an offline computer:

  1. Send a letter to support@handybackup.net. Upon receipt, we will send you a special program called Reginfo. Note: If your e-mail server does not accept executable files, please let us know in advance.
  2. Copy the program we send you to the Handy Backup folder and run it.
  3. Enter your registration number. Reginfo will generate a file called "reginfo.txt".
  4. Send the generated file to support@handybackup.net.
  5. Upon receipt of "reginfo.txt", we will generate a corresponding Windows registry file, which will be sent to you along with further instructions.
