Handy Backup performs hot Exchange backup, i.e. creating the backup doesn’t require you to stop the service. However, restoration of MS Exchange requires several steps to be done.
To restore MS Exchange Server, you need to dismount the databases you want to restore via the MS Exchange System Manager and then run a usual restoration task with Handy Backup. The operation will overwrite the selected databases on the MS Exchange Server. For details, please refer to the MS Exchange Backup and Restore in the User Manual.
Note: We recommend that only technically qualified persons perform the restoration of MS Exchange Server. Incorrect use of the MS Exchange Server restore operation can lead to irreversible damage of your MS Exchange Server data.
