To back up Thunderbird, follow these steps:
- Make sure that you have downloaded and installed Thunderbird backup plug-in (for instructions, use the links at the bottom of the page).
- In software interface, launch the New Task Wizard.
- Select Backup Task, and then click Next.
- Click Add to open the shortcut menu. The list of available for backup items will appear.
- Click Mozilla Thunderbird. All Thunderbird data will be automatically located and displayed in the tree form.
- Expand the tree and check the boxes near Thunderbird components that you want to back up. To back up all data, check the root box.
- When finished, click Next.
