The version 6.9.1: Faster, Smarter and Easier to Use

With Christmas behind and new year 2011 just round the corner, we are delighted to announce the release of a new version of Handy Backup!

Handy Backup 6.9.1 features many enhancements designed to make user experience more intuitive and enjoyable!

• Users of Windows 7 can immediately notice the changes in the way Handy Backup is displayed in tasks. The new 6.9.1. version makes use of the advanced Windows 7 taskbar which now shows progress of currently running tasks. Now you are not required to open the main program’s window to how your backups are running!
• An option to open Handy Backup Disaster Recovery web help when creating a recovery drive is now disabled by default.
• Users of our Online Backup service now receive a fast-access link leading to their Online cabinet in the task log after any execution of the task. Earlier, the link appeared only if the task finished with an error.
• We’ve made many efforts to optimize the Image Backup plug-in: it became much faster and works more correctly under Windows 7. We highly recommend all users of earlier versions of Handy Backup to upgrade to version 6.9.1
• The Database Backup plug-in now became more stable and gives out less errors when backing up SQL databases.
• Several improvements were made to network transferring engine: network backup tasks now run much faster.
• As always, there are many minor user interface enhancements and fixes.

To upgrade to the new version simply uninstall the old one and install the new one - and you’ll get all the new features right away!
