Version 8.7.3: Improved Scheduling, Sorting for Data Selection, French Localization Update

Improved Backup Scheduling

The new version fixes an issue with monthly schedules that could occur when the selected backup date does not exist in a particular month. For example, a task scheduled to run on the 30th of every month now correctly handles February and other months with fewer days.

A new option has also been added to run backups a specified number of days before the end of the month. This provides more flexibility when creating monthly backup schedules without having to rely on a fixed calendar date.

File Sorting in the Data Selection Window

Added file sorting by name, date, or size when selecting data for backup. This makes it easier to navigate folders and find the files you need, especially when working with directories containing a large number of files.

Improved Apply Button Behavior

A minor interface issue in the program settings has been fixed. Previously, the Apply button could remain active even when no settings had been changed.

The button now correctly reflects whether any changes have actually been made.

Updated Centralize Deploy Tool

Handy Backup 8.7.3 also includes refactoring of Centralize Deploy. These changes improve its internal logic and contribute to the overall stability and maintainability of the software. Centralize Deploy Tool allows administrators to remotely install Handy Backup Network Agents on multiple computers from a central location, simplifying deployment and management across a business network.

French Localization Update

In version 8.7.3 includes an updated French localization. Interface texts have been reviewed and refined to provide a clearer and more natural experience for French-speaking users.
