Dear users, the updated version of Handy Backup now supports Linux Debian 11 and 12. The PostgreSQL plugin has been enhanced to ensure compatibility with version 17 of the database. Additionally, file backups in Windows now accommodate filenames that start with a space, and the logging system for 1C backups has been improved to provide more detailed and informative insights.

Backup Debian 12 and 11

New Agent for Debian 11 and 12

Handy Backup Server Network now supports Linux Debian 11 and 12, enabling file backups using the "Computer" plugin. Additionally, support for plugins that facilitate data backups to Amazon S3 and other S3-compatible cloud storage solutions has been introduced.

Installation instruction

To configure Debian backup tasks, first install the Handy Backup Control Panel on a Windows operating system. After that, install the Workstation agent on the Debian device.

Compatibility with PostgreSQL 17

Handy Backup is now fully compatible with the latest PostgreSQL 17, allowing users to seamlessly update their databases and take advantage of advanced backup features.

The program supports PostgreSQL backup through hot backups, enabling data preservation without halting database operations.
