Version 8.6.7: WebDAV, Backblaze, SFTP and OneDrive plugin improvements
Dear users, in the new Handy Backup 8.6.7 release we focused on improving the reliability of cloud and network plugins as well as on predictable interface behavior. This update adds support for files larger than 2 GB in the WebDAV plugin, fixes failures when restoring data from Backblaze Backup, and ensures proper handling of SFTP connections with OpenSSH Server.

We have also resolved interface issues that occurred when the connection to an agent or server was lost, as well as errors in the OneDrive plugins, including problems with creating the “Forms” service folder.
Support for files larger than 2 GB in WebDAV
The WebDAV plugin now supports files larger than 2 GB. This extends WebDAV backup capabilities in compatible cloud and file storage services where large archives and databases are often used. Tasks that work with such files now run correctly and without extra size limitations, within the capabilities of the connected storage.
Stable backup restore in Backblaze
In the Backblaze plugin, which works with an S3 compatible object storage, we have fixed failures that occurred during backup restore operations. Data restore now runs reliably, including long running jobs and scenarios with a large number of objects in the storage.
If you use Backblaze together with other S3 compatible services, such as Amazon S3 backup, this update helps keep a unified approach to working with object storage in Handy Backup.
Correct file display for SFTP connections
In the SFTP plugin we have updated how responses from OpenSSH Server are processed. Thanks to this, file lists now show sizes and other file attributes on the remote server correctly. This makes it easier to configure and monitor tasks that use SFTP to exchange data with remote systems.
Stable interface in Handy Backup Server Network
In the server edition Handy Backup Server Network we have fixed incorrect interface behavior that could occur when the connection to an agent or server was lost. Now, during short connection drops, the management console remains operational and correctly displays the status of tasks and connected agents. This is especially important for backing up servers and workstations in a distributed infrastructure of an organization.
Automatic update of task properties
We have fixed an issue that caused automatic updates of task properties in the task list to stop. The task list now correctly tracks changes to task properties and the information is updated automatically, without any extra actions required from the user.
OneDrive plugin fixes
We have fixed an error that prevented the OneDrive Backup plugins from creating the “Forms” folder. Now, when backing up to OneDrive and restoring data, the folder structure is created in full, including the “Forms” service folder. This simplifies working with document libraries and forms in Microsoft services.
