ODBC Plugin Stability Increased

An issue affecting database backups using the ODBC plugin has been fixed. This improves the stability of backups for databases connected via ODBC drivers.

SFTP Backup Performance Improved

The data transfer speed in the SFTP plugin has been increased, reducing the time required to complete backup tasks to SFTP servers. According to internal testing, backup performance has improved by up to 10% in certain scenarios.

VSS Message Handling Updated

The output of messages and exceptions from the Windows Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) has been refined when backing up files in hot mode. This simplifies job monitoring and troubleshooting.

Email Plugin: None Authorization Mode Updated

An issue with the Email plugin when using the None authorization mode has been fixed. This ensures correct email backup via IMAP servers and improves compatibility with various mail servers.

Temporary File Handling Made More Reliable

Temporary file handling has been improved during WebDAV backups, reducing the likelihood of errors when uploading data to WebDAV storage and when cleaning up temporary files during job execution.

In addition, temporary file processing in the zip compression filter has been improved when creating archives. This has a positive effect on backup stability and file archiving, especially when working with large data volumes.
